I. Identity and Address of the Data Controller Vatanmed Clinic, with address at Blvrd Gral Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada 9589-Int 703, Zona Urbana Rio Tijuana, 22010 Tijuana, B.C., is responsible for collecting your personal data, its use, and protection.

II. Personal Data to be Processed
For the purposes stated in this privacy notice, we collect the following personal and sensitive data directly from you (provided during your visit to the clinic and/or through various means such as telephone, email, or social media): name, surname, address, age, sex, anthropometric measurements, blood group, ethnic origin, and other specific data related to your general health status, as well as your mobile or landline phone number, email address, and, additionally, in case of requiring invoicing, your Federal Taxpayer Registry. These data are treated with strict security measures to ensure confidentiality.
III. Purposes of Processing
In accordance with Article 16 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and Article 41 of its Regulation, we inform you that your personal information will be used to provide the requested products and/or services. Without this information, we would not be able to carry out any assessment and/or procedure, considering the following purposes:
Creating a health record (clinical file) about your health status.
Providing required services and products and following up on the results obtained.
Informing about new products or services related to those you have acquired.
Fulfilling obligations contracted with you.
Notifying about changes in our services.
Evaluating the quality of the service.
Conducting internal studies on consumer habits.
Any advertising format in images.
Scientific or research purposes.
At any time, you may revoke the consent you have granted us for the processing of your data, so that we stop using them. To do so, you need to submit your request to our Data Protection Officer via email: info@vatanmed.mx.
IV. Data Transfer For the provision of Vatanmed Clinic services, personal data in our possession may be transferred to medical staff, hospitals, clinics, research and study institutions, laboratories, insurance companies, and subcontracted third parties, exclusively for the purposes indicated in this privacy notice.
V. Means and Procedure to Revoke Consent and Exercise ARCO Rights
You have the right to (i) access your personal data and details of their processing, as well as to (ii) rectify them if they are inaccurate or incomplete, (iii) cancel them when you consider they are not necessary for any of the purposes stated in this privacy notice, are being used for non-consented purposes, or when the legal services have ended, or (iv) object to the processing of your data for specific purposes (the “ARCO Rights”). You are also entitled to revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data whenever it is not necessary for the provision of services.
A. ARCO Request Requirements
In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, any ARCO Request (“ARCO Request”) must meet the following requirements:
Indicate the name of the data subject and their address, or any other means to communicate the response to the request.
Provide the documents that prove their identity or, if applicable, the representation of the data subject.
Clearly and precisely describe the personal data for which they intend to exercise any of the ARCO Rights. If it concerns the rectification of personal data, they must indicate the modifications to be made and provide supporting documents for their request.
Indicate and/or provide any other element or document that facilitates the location of personal data.
B. Means to Submit ARCO Requests or Revoke Consent
Data subjects may submit such requests directly at the offices of Vatanmed Clinic, located at Blvrd Gral Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada 9589-Int 703, Zona Urbana Rio Tijuana, 22010 Tijuana, B.C. The data subject must verify their identity by providing a copy of their identification document and presenting the original for verification. Accepted identification documents include voter ID, passport, and professional license.
If a representative attends on behalf of the data subject, they must prove: (i) the identity of the data subject; (ii) their own identity as a representative, and (iii) the existence of the representation, through a public instrument or a power of attorney signed before two witnesses, or through the declaration of the data subject in person.
The data subject or their representative will receive an acknowledgment of receipt of the ARCO Request, indicating the date of receipt.
C. Timeframe for Handling ARCO Requests
If the information provided in the ARCO Request is insufficient or incorrect to process it, or if the necessary documents are not attached, Vatanmed Clinic will request the data subject or their representative, within 5 business days following the receipt of the ARCO Request, to provide the necessary elements or documents to process it. The data subject or their representative will have 10 business days from the day following the receipt of the request to respond.
Vatanmed Clinic will respond to the ARCO Request with the determination reached, within a period of 20 business days from the receipt of the request, or in case additional information or documents have been requested, within 20 business days from the day following the presentation of the response to the request.
If the ARCO Request is deemed appropriate, Vatanmed Clinic will implement the determined resolution within 15 business days from the date of communicating the response to the data subject or their representative. Regarding ARCO Requests related to the right of access to personal data, the delivery of such data will be made upon accreditation of the data subject’s or their representative’s identity.
Vatanmed Clinic may extend the timeframes to respond to an ARCO Request and/or to implement the determined resolution, only once, for periods equal to those indicated in each case, whenever it considers that the circumstances justify it. In such cases, Vatanmed Clinic will notify the data subject or their representative of the circumstance(s) justifying the extension, within each of the original timeframes to respond or implement the determined resolution.
The responses to ARCO Requests will be delivered to the data subject or their representative. The requested information or personal data may be made available to the data subject or their representative in simple copies or in electronic files, depending on the type and quantity of documents involved in each case.
For the revocation of consent, it will be sufficient for the data subject to submit their request at the address of Vatanmed Clinic. Vatanmed Clinic will give a positive response and implement the request, provided that it does not concern personal data necessary for the existence, maintenance, and fulfillment of its medical relationship with the data subject.
D. Changes to the Privacy Notice
At Vatanmed Clinic, we reserve the right to make modifications or updates to this privacy notice to address new requirements, provide legal services, or send related information. Any modification to this privacy notice will be made available to you on the website: https://vatanmed.mx/.
